Given their extensive list of suspensions and injuries, which included four of their most important players in James Maddison, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, and Destiny Udogie, the match at Molineux Stadium was always going to be a tough one for the Spurs.

Maybe he ought to have placed Giovani Lo Celso. Although I think Ange is great, I believe he should have included Lo Celso for a little bit more authority and control.

It must be said that, with all the stuff we’ve heard about the Australian never sacrificing on his style of play, I was a little taken aback when Ange decided to start Hojbjerg instead of Maddison for Lo Celso.

The counterargument to that, though, is that even with the additional defensive insurance the Dane provided in the center of the mark, we appeared to be rather exposed at the back. So, had Lo Celso started, it could have been even simpler to get to our backline.
