The Italian and Dutch press have been speculating about Fiorentina and Feyenoord’s interest in signing Bryan Gil of Tottenham Hotpsur for a few days now.
Without seeking the player’s input, Fiorentina News supported the Serie A team’s interest two days prior and clarified that Spurs are willing to negotiate a deal.
The Tottenham player’s position has been revealed by Voetbal Primeur, who also gave an explanation for Arne Slot’s team’s interest in him.
Ayase Ueda and Alireza Jahanbakhsh will be representing Japan and Iran respectively at the Asian Cup, while Gambia’s Yankuba Minteh will be at AFCON.
The Eredivisie winners have been forced to search for an attacker this month due to the trio’s temporary absence, and Gil has been singled out.
The winger has only played 88 minutes in seven league games for Tottenham since the beginning of last month. According to reports, the Spain international is “reluctant to leave” the Premier League team in January, despite having a limited role under Ange Postecoglou.

Will Lankshear, a forward from the Tottenham Hotspur academy, has already scored ten goals this season.
The 18-year-old Spurs star, who missed a large portion of the previous season due to injury, has recovered this year.
In Premier League 2 action on Friday night, Lankshear scored twice to help Tottenham’s Under-21s defeat Southampton’s Under-21s 3-2.
With the aid of the young player’s goals, Wayne Burnett’s Spurs squad has won their league for an astounding ten straight games.
On the south coast, Tottenham twice took the lead and were twice pushed back until Lankshear contributed to the final victory.
Spurs’ first-half lead came from Max Robson, but Cameron Bragg’s penalty kick shortly after the half tied the score at one.
Just before the hour, Lankshear scored with a cool finish, and in the latter stages, Alejandro Gomes Rodrigues appeared to have deserved a share of the victory.
Then came Lankshear’s fortunate winner, as Sonnie Davis attempted a clearance inside the Saints six-yard box, only for the ball to bounce off his head and into the back of the net.

It’s always wonderful to see a young Spurs player put up such amazing goal and assist totals, but it’s even more satisfying when that player has had to recover from an injury.

In many ways, Lankshear has continued where he left off. Earlier in the season, Alasdair Gold had backed him to be “a force to be reckoned with,” and he is certainly proving it.
