Done deal :3 recruits who will commit soon to Michigan football

Michigan football is in the midst of a drought in terms of commitments. Their last commitment came January 4th in the form of Tennessee tight end Eli Owens. Since then, obviously, a lot has changed. The Wolverines have won a national championship and seen a complete overhaul of the staff.

A large portion of the recruiting board was essentially reset, with the new coaches looking to create their own boards. We are about three months into Sherrone Moore’s tenure, and we are in the beginning of the recruiting season. Tons of elite prospects have been visiting Ann Arbor, and the Wolverines have made huge impressions on many.

While NIL remains a question, there is optimism that the Wolverines could land a couple commitments before the end of April. With that said, lets take a look at three prospects who should be on commitment watch.

Four Star WR Taz Williams (TX)

Williams, who is originally from Pennsylvania, has received some predictions to Michigan recently, and the Wolverines currently appear to be leading the way. Williams is comparable to the Michigan football team’s receivers. He stands about six feet tall and is more of a quick receiver than a jump ball player.

Williams was scheduled to visit Michigan football this weekend, and a strong showing there could result in a commitment. Williams would be a great start for this wide receiver class, and Ron Bellamy has been working extremely hard on this recruitment.

Williams would be an excellent fit for the Wolverines this cycle, since Michigan needs a decent or exceptional wide receiver class. Watch this one carefully over the coming days. Seek out any information regarding Williams’ visit.
