Gatlin Bair reacts to Michigan’s national title win over Washington

Updates on one of the Wolverines’ targets are available at TMI.

Although Michigan signed 27 players during the early signing period, they still have their eye on Gatlin Bair, a wide receiver ranked among the top 100 in the country.

Even after he committed to Boise State during the summer, the Wolverines have a long history of being a top candidate in this class of recruits.

Since then, he has resumed recruiting and shifted his attention to Oregon and Michigan, the top two schools.

In the National Championship Game on Monday night, he witnessed one of his Michigan finalists make history by defeating the Washington Huskies. He discusses the Wolverines’ victory with The Michigan Insider.

Bair expressed her excitement for those guys to The Michigan Insider, saying, “It’s awesome.” They proved many people wrong and overcame great adversity to win.

If winning a title has affected his opinion of Michigan, he continues, “I wouldn’t say so.” They’ve always, in my opinion, been that kind of team that contends for a title each year.

During his week at the All-American Bowl, Bair, who was one of the standouts, had the opportunity to connect with two future Wolverines, Joziah Edmond and Andrew Sprague.

Bair declared, “It was good.” “I thought it was cool that they were more like teammates than recruiters, even though they did recruit me a little bit.”

The Wolverines are favored in both of the 247Sports Crystal Ball for Gatlin Bair predictions, with Michigan leading.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Bair is ranked as the No. 43 overall prospect in the 2024 class, the No. 11 wide receiver in the country, and the top player in the state of Idaho for his class.
