Connor Stalions did not remain on staff at the University of Michigan for the entirety of the 2023–2024 college football season. But from what we’ve learned thus far, he was an important component of the national championship puzzle.
The national sign-stealing controversy that rocked the sports world revolved around the former Wolverines analyst. Cast as the antagonist, he resigned from his position, most likely with support from Michigan’s upper management.
Shortly after his inappropriate behavior became viral, Stalions made his social media accounts private. When he wasn’t hiding on the sidelines stealing the signals himself, he would frequently buy tickets to games against prospective opponents, pay people to record signals from the stands, then translate those calls for the Michigan coaches during games. Presumably. Jim Harbaugh was suspended due to the ongoings, indicating that there was undoubtedly illicit activity occurring.
For now, Connor Stallion is unconcerned. His group took home a national title!

Sunday night, not long after reopening his Instagram account, Stalions uploaded a picture. He was sitting outside the Ohio State football stadium, wearing his national champions hat and his Pasadena win roses.
All Stallion could do was accept his part in the dispute. His name will always be connected to the Michigan Wolverines sign-stealing incident.
But it’s just barbaric to go out of his way to scold the school’s fiercest opponents after being identified as one of the major outlaws in athletics.
Despite his reputation as a troublesome character in college football history, Ann Arbor residents have welcomed him with open arms as a lionheart. They bought him several buckets of beer during the national championship game to honor his contribution to the program’s success. He received an invitation from former Wolverines star Chase Winovich to see the CFP semifinal game versus Alabama from the first row at the Rose Bowl.
