Since the news about Nick Saban broke, everyone has been waiting to hear from one person.
Not surprisingly, not all Alabama supporters are taking Nick Saban’s retirement well.
During the grieving process, Paul Finebaum caller “Legend” displayed a range of emotions that many Crimson Tide supporters must be experiencing. And he completed everything in a fun ninety seconds.
Grieving occurs in five stages, as you are aware. A few of them were hit by “Legend.”
He became melancholy and said to Finebaum, “It’s a sad, sad day of loss, brother.” “Man, I haven’t felt this bad since I lost my mom.” This is quite awful.
A hint of rage was added, “I’m in shock. What is happening? Paul, this whole thing is collapsing. the entire process. Assist me! Assist me! You’re meant to come get me and reassure me that everything will be OK. This is quite awful.
“Legend” acknowledged it and said, “Paul is the best coach in history.” Don’t you think so? Man, all I would like to say is “We love ya’ll” to Coach Saban and Miss Terry. We appreciate you. We were in the depths of hell, Coach Saban. We were in the depths of hell, darling! The devil had us under fire. And then you appeared, raised us back to the summit of the mountain, and hauled us out of the bottomless pit of Hell.
The caller then went back to rejecting, saying, “You are the best to have ever done it.” You are a legendary person. You are a GOAT. Brother, allow me to say this to you: “Rethink your decision.” Return soon! Return soon!”
For many years, “Legend” has been a beloved segment on the “Finebaum Show.”
After criticizing the Alabama defensive coordinator on “The Paul Finebaum Show” in 2022, Pete Golding’s father, Skip, seemed to threaten Legend.
During the broadcast, Skip Golding asked Legend, “Give me his address.” “I’m not scared, so I’ll meet his ass. My hometown is South Miami.
After criticizing both Alabama coordinators and attacking Pete Golding, Legend called the show.
“Dude, I’m so mad at you,” Legend exclaimed. “We get off scheme every time we play Alabama. Our coordinators are sorry as hell. This group of coordinators is the worst they have ever had.
