Jim Harbaugh, who just won a national championship with the University of Michigan, is arguably the most sought-after head coach currently interviewing for a new position in the NFL.
In the NFL offseason, Harbaugh will be pursued by all teams with the financial means and the desire to significantly improve their head coaching position and coaching staff; the Los Angeles Chargers are among the teams with the best opportunity to reintegrate him into the professional ranks.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the Chargers and Harbaugh wrapped up their interview on Monday.
With Harbaugh having plenty of suitors, including the Raiders, who may look to replace Antonio Pierce with the former Wolverines head coach, it remains to be seen where he might land, as it seems as though he’s determined to return to the league and win that elusive Super Bowl title.
Right now, the Chargers appear to be the most appealing option for Harbaugh because they play in one of the nation’s largest markets and already boast a win-now roster that includes Justin Herbert, a superstar quarterback.

Unexpectedly, veteran defensive back Rod Moore has declared that he will return to Ann Arbor for his actual senior year in the fall of next year.
Over the previous three seasons, Michigan’s defensive success has been greatly attributed to Moore. Several coaches have referred to him as a coach on the field, and he is the perfect example of sticking at one school and developing. Moore, an Ohio native who was underutilized as a prospect, is aware of the rivalry between Michigan and Ohio State and will undoubtedly have a significant impact on Michigan’s victory in 2023.
