For Alabama, this is a significant and important win. A few weeks after taking over as head coach, Kalen DeBoer saw a predictable turnover in the transfers that the Crimson Tide lost. After all, college football is in a new era, so the departures weren’t the main narrative. However, he needed to replace was.
Acquiring Williams to recommit is a huge win, especially after losing a few important players. Excellent wide receiver recruits have never caused the Crimson Tide any trouble in the past. Anyone who has followed DeBoer, particularly at Washington, is aware of the potential of his passing attack.
It will be interesting to watch how he develops as a recruit. However, this is significant news for Alabama, and their supporters should rejoice over it.
